Program

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM. In July & August we are open for 6
weeks. There are 3 two week sessions which start Monday after July 4 through
Mid August. This program is open to
children from age 12 months thru Kindergarten. Flexibility
exists within a five day per week schedule.

Flexibility exists within a half or full
day schedule.

Morning Sessions within period of 7:15 AM to 11:30 AM |

Full Day Session within period of 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM |
A full, developmentally appropriate
academic curriculum is offered. It
includes the following:
o
Drawing, writing,
modeling and activities to develop small motor skills.
o
Pre-reading and
language skills, story, poetry and drama.
o
Mathematics, spatial
and quantitative concepts, numeration and problem solving.
o
Science, Social Studies
and Health Education which reflect and extend an awareness of the child's
world. We seek to encourage the wonder
and joy of young children through exploration and discovery.
o
Art, crafts, music and
dance to foster communication skills
o
Daily physical
education either in the outside play area or inside the large indoor gymnasium.
o
Spanish thru play is included
daily provided appropriate Spanish speaking staff is available.
